Online Print Symposium 2023: Empowering the future of Print

First speakers and partners have been confirmed – secure early bird prices for participant tickets and partner packages now – application period for start-ups has started – anniversary motto has been set

On 23 and 24 March 2023, the Online Print Symposium (OPS) will celebrate a milestone birthday: for the 10th time, the OPS will take place as usual in Munich at the Science Congress Center Munich. The event, which is well established in the online print industry, attracts industry giants and newcomers alike and offers all participants an international platform for exchange. Renowned speakers offer lectures from all relevant areas: Mass Customisation, Digital Commerce, Digital Transformation, Web-to-Print and Crisis Management are just some of the keywords here. The motto for the anniversary is “Empowering the Future of Print” and this is precisely the focus of OPS 2023.

The unique industry event regularly attracts more than 300 national and international participants to Munich and has established itself as a meeting place for the e-business print community worldwide. Participants range from the big players in the industry to creative or highly innovative newcomers. The Online Print Symposium is organised by zipcon consulting GmbH and the Bundesverband Druck und Medien e.V. (bvdm).

With two evening events, the Insider Get-Together on the previous evening of the symposium and the Networking Dinner, as well as a partner exhibition, the OPS offers numerous opportunities for networking. Decision-makers can exchange ideas with potential partners and customers in a relaxed atmosphere and at eye level.

Big names pay their respects

The lecture programme also promises to be extremely exciting once again – and the first name on the list of speakers is already a real head-turner: Robert Keane, Managing Director of Cimpress, will appear as a keynote speaker at OPS 2023 and provide insights into forward-looking developments in online printing. But the other speakers also read like a Who’s Who of the (online) print industry: Dr Ralph Dittmann, Managing Director of WKS Druckholding GmbH, will approach the topic of sustainability from a very special perspective. Tobias Kaase, Managing Director and Dominik Haacke, Key Account Manager E-Commerce at mediaprint solutions GmbH, will deal with predictive production, while Dr Christian Maaß, MD & CDO Thomann Music, will tell the participants something about the trends in e-commerce 2023. And of course, Bernd Zipper, Managing Director at zipcon consulting, will give the eagerly awaited lecture on developments and trends in the online print industry.

Applications from innovative start-ups wanted

The Insight Pitches of innovative start-ups were a great success at the last Online Print Symposium – that’s why they can’t be missing from the anniversary OPS. By popular demand, a number of exciting young companies will again have the chance to present themselves on the big stage and network with the “big players” in the industry in 2023. Start-ups can still apply until 16.12.2022 at https://www.online-print-symposium.de/en/startup-application.

Partner of the OPS

Top partners will again accompany the OPS next year: Sappi is once again a platinum partner and with rissc, ctrl-s and Xeikon, further long-standing partners have been won for the second time. On the other hand, lead print is celebrating its premiere at the OPS. The company thus joins the list of top-class partners. If you are interested and would also like to present your company in the partner exhibition at the Online Print Symposium, please contact Sandra Bellof at sb@zipcon.de for more information and to book a partner stand.

Co-organiser Bernd Zipper, CEO of zipcon consulting, is looking forward to the anniversary: “Under the impression of all the temporal realities, we will look into the future, overcome the challenges together and look forward strengthened. We remain optimistic and will celebrate the online print industry for what we have achieved and developed together. In such challenging times, it is a pleasure for me to see how the digital transformation is taking hold in many companies and is always providing new impulses for constant further development. Because every crisis also holds opportunities that need to be recognised and implemented.”
