Online Print Symposium 2024: Announcement of first speakers and start-up applications begin

A keynote speaker and further speakers are published – Start-ups can apply for Insight Pitches – First partners have been confirmed

Munich, 24. Oktober 2023

The Online Print Symposium on 14 and 15 March 2024 at the Science Congress Center Munich is already eagerly awaited. It is therefore high time to reveal the first names.

Top-class speakers

The organisers have already announced one of the keynote speakers: None other than Henrik Müller-Hansen, CEO of Gelato, will explain how mass customisation in times of artificial intelligence not only generates profitable change, but also has a lasting impact on the print-on-demand world. Gelato uses these business drivers very successfully and Henrik Müller-Hansen is ready to share his insights.

José Salgado, founder of the Bizay Group from the UK, will also address the trend topic of mass customisation in combination with artificial intelligence, but with a focus on pitfalls and difficulties in setting up a company.

Sebastian Klapdor, CTO and CDO (Chief Data Officer) at VistaPrint, will address the application areas of artificial intelligence to increase business value and customer benefit.

Christian Maaß, MD & CDO at Thomann Music, had to cancel his participation last year due to illness, but is looking forward to attending the upcoming OPS with a very current topic: He looks at the attention battle with the big web platforms and shows how to still hold your own.

Of course, the annual update by Bernd Zipper, CEO of zipcon consulting GmbH, who will present the much anticipated facts and figures of the online print industry, analyse them and point out the latest trends for the industry, in which artificial intelligence will certainly play an important role, must not be missed.

Co-organiser Jens Meyer, Managing Director of Verband Druck und Medien Beratung GmbH, gives a further outlook: “With the speakers already announced, it is once again clear that the OPS attracts the big names in the industry and inspires the Who is Who of the online print industry. The presentations not only give an overview of the latest trends, topics and impulses, but they also reflect the mood of the online print industry.”

Application phase of the Insight Pitches is running

The application phase for the start-ups has also begun. Innovative start-ups can apply for one of the highly coveted places at the Insight Pitches until 30 November 2023. The selected start-ups can then present themselves to the audience free of charge with a short presentation, pitch their idea and use the entire OPS for networking. This is the application form: https://online-print-symposium.de/en/startup-application/

In recent years, numerous newcomers have successfully used this opportunity to boost their business. Christoph Clermont from Printess GmbH & Co. KG was present at the Insight Pitches in 2022 and reported to the organisers one year later at OPS: “We had the great opportunity to present ourselves as a start-up here at OPS and we had the chance to make many contacts that really helped us last year, so we’ve had a great year”.

Loyal partners

The Online Print Symposium is also distinguished by its loyal partners. Sappi Deutschland GmbH will again be a supporter of the OPS next year as a Platinum Partner. With ctrl-s GmbH as well as rissc solutions GmbH, two more long-standing Gold Partners have remained loyal to the online print event of the year. As in the previous year, Konica Minolta Business Solutions Deutschland GmbH will be there with a bronze package, as will Initiative Online Print e.V. as an Advisory Partner.
